The Poznań premiere was part of a broader series of similar events, which had already taken place successfully in Katowice and Białystok. In these cities, the animated films were also presented to enthusiastic audiences. More than 50 people attended these events, where they not only enjoyed the children’s animations but also learned the basics of creating neural artwork.

The scorching weather throughout the day prompted parents and organizers to move the workshops from the Center NGO building to Kościuszko Park. This decision created a special atmosphere: instead of working indoors, the children engaged in creative activities outdoors, under the shade of trees, bringing fresh energy to their work.

More than thirty illustrations were created during this inspiring day. The young artists captured a unique essence in their work — a sense of freshness and lightness that seems to radiate from their drawings.

All the illustrations created will find meaningful use: they will be featured in an animated film dedicated to one of Belarus’s renowned historical figures, Anastasija Sluckaja. This historical heroine will inspire future generations through an image brought to life by the talent of these children.

The workshops in Katowice were not just about learning; they provided an opportunity for self-expression, a chance to feel part of a larger project, and a way to contribute to the cultural heritage of Belarus.

What is Neuro-Illustration, and What Can Kids Expect?

Neuro-illustration is a drawing created using artificial intelligence under human guidance. During the masterclass, children will learn to design illustrated characters and become familiar with the basic principles of working with prompts (instructions for neural networks). No special artistic skills or prior training are required to participate—everything will be taught during the session!

What Will Participants Gain?

Over the course of 60 minutes, children will:

• Create their own illustrated characters.
• Learn to navigate the MidJourney neural network interface.
• Discover the fundamentals of prompt engineering.

The main goal of the masterclass is to show that modern technologies are accessible to everyone and to help children express their ideas through art.

Children of various ages participated in the workshop, and each demonstrated a high level of creativity. One of the highlights was observing the work of the youngest participant, a 7-year-old girl. Her drawing of an ermine particularly inspired the other children. Other participants created illustrations of wolves and falcons — animals linked to the legends of Usiaslau "the Wizard" Charadziej, the famous prince of Polack.

These creations will serve as the foundation for animations to be used in a new film about Usiaslau "the Wizard" Charadziej. The young artists will also become part of the creative team, as their names will appear in the credits of the upcoming animated film.

The event was held in a remarkably friendly and inspiring atmosphere. Children enthusiastically explored new technologies, while parents had the opportunity to observe the process and support their young creators. At the conclusion of the workshop, all participants received invitations to the summer premiere of the animated films, where they will see their illustrations come to life on the big screen.
